Illinois and Florida have received more than 30 Conrad 30 applications

This year many states are receiving a higher volume of Conrad 30 applications than in previous years.  Florida has already received 51 applications and Illinois has received 40 J1 waiver applications.  The J1 program for residents is increasing in popularity, which may have resulted in an increase of Conrad 30 applications.  Doctors who need a J1 waiver should also consider applying for a J1 hardship waiver if they meet the hardship waiver requirements.  Contact our office at 415-986-6186 if you have J1 waiver questions.
