Kaushik Ranchod is author of the Immigration Law Handbook “Foreign Medical Graduate Hiring Made Easy“. Kaushik Ranchod is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California. Kaushik Ranchod was a featured radio speaker on KPFA (F.M.) discussing new developments in immigration law. He also speaks at Immigration Seminars including the The National Summit on Employment Law and Compliance, and at the HR Star conference in Los Angeles.
Mr. Ranchod served on the executive committee of the South Asian division of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and on the Board of Directors for the South Asian Bar Association. He is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Ranchod volunteered as a pro bono attorney for the Nihonmachi Legal Outreach Family Immigration Law Program for abused women. Attorney Ranchod graduated from the top tier University of Southern California as valedictorian of his major (first in his class) and was added to the Trojan Wall of Fame. He obtained his Juris Doctor from a top tier law school, University of California, Hastings, in San Francisco, California.
Mr. Ranchod began his legal career as a litigating attorney for an employment law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. He subsequently joined a high-technology firm as a Human Resources Consultant where he advised small businesses to Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States on recruitment and strategic process issues. Kaushik Ranchod also served as a Legal Clerk for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In this capacity, Mr. Ranchod assisted Administrative Law Judges in evaluating and deciding employment discrimination cases. In addition, Mr. Ranchod externed for Magistrate Judge Maria Elena James, United States District Court, Northern District of California.
